Get ready for a fierce night of drag, cabaret, live music and spectacular entertainment as Dragged HOME takes over the Cardiff Spiegeltent for one unforgettable evening.

Opening weekend gets an extra dose of glamour as a stellar line-up of performers comes together in support of Cardiff Christmas Festival’s official charity partner, Shelter Cymru.

Hosted by the fabulously talented Justine Marie Mead, expect powerhouse vocals, outrageous entertainment, breathtaking performance and plenty of sparkle as some of Wales and the UK’s most exciting talent takes to the Spiegeltent stage.

This is a night to celebrate individuality, community and unforgettable live performance — with every ticket helping support Shelter Cymru’s fight against homelessness across Wales.

Meet the line-up

Carrie Sauce

Seasoned performer, classically trained singer and winner of S4C’s Y Llais (The Voice) 2026, Carrie Sauce brings powerhouse vocals and undeniable stage presence to the Spiegeltent.

Carrie became the first drag artist to win a version of The Voice anywhere in the world, making this Cardiff Christmas Festival debut one not to miss.

Marmalade

Welsh drag performer and designer Marmalade reached the final four of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 6 and has since continued to build a career spanning performance, fashion and digital media.

A Guinness World Record holder whose design work has featured at London’s V&A Museum, Marmalade has also created the popular YouTube series Behind The Seams and performed at Pride celebrations and major stages across the UK.

Her debut solo show, Spotlight, played to sell-out audiences in 2025, with a future UK tour planned.

Violet Thistletease

Award-winning Scottish burlesque performer Violet Thistletease brings glamour, theatricality and a mischievous edge to the Spiegeltent stage.

Currently appearing in residency at Belle Livingstone’s 58th Street Country Club in London, an immersive 1930s jazz experience, Violet has built a reputation for performances that blend classic burlesque with striking stage presence and plenty of personality.

She was crowned “Legend in the Making” at the Hebden Bridge Burlesque Festival and also stars in TEASE, the touring burlesque production bringing some of the UK’s finest performers to stages across the country.

A bonnie wee lass… who might not be quite as shy as she first appears.

South Wales Gay Men’s Chorus

The award-winning South Wales Gay Men’s Chorus brings together singers from across the region to celebrate community, inclusion and the joy of making music.

Since 2008, the Cardiff-based chorus has performed at festivals, Pride celebrations, charity fundraisers and prestigious venues across the UK and beyond. Known for their rich harmonies and uplifting performances, they use music to champion visibility, friendship and belonging while representing the LGBTQ+ community with pride.

Expect plenty of heart, powerful harmonies and more than a little sparkle.

More Than Just a Soirée

All profits from this event will support Shelter Cymru and its fight against homelessness in Wales.

Homelessness disproportionately affects LGBTQ+ people. Stonewall research has found that almost one in five LGBTQ+ people have experienced homelessness at some point in their lives, rising to one in four trans people. Research from akt has also identified family rejection, abuse or being asked to leave home as a major cause of homelessness among LGBTQ+ young people.

All love should have a home.

Last year, Shelter Cymru supported more than 21,000 people in housing need. Its free advice and support services are available to anyone who needs them, helping people across Wales facing or experiencing homelessness.

Every penny raised through this event will help Shelter Cymru continue that work.

Home is everything.
